ABOUT MAGED ZAKY

My name is Maged Zaky. I was born in 1983. I am Egyptian, but I live and work in Turkey. I am a ceramic artist, designer, and academic. I have been working as a lecturer of Industrial Ceramic Design at Erciyes University since 2015. I graduated from Helwan University, Faculty of Applied Arts, Ceramics department, in 2005. Then, I completed my Master of Applied Arts in the same department in 2011. I also worked as an assistant lecturer from 2006 till 2013 in the Ceramics department in Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt. I did a Master of Fine Arts in Ceramic and Glass Design Department at Dokuz Eylul University, Izmir, Turkey. And I finished my PhD in Ceramic Art from Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey.
